Steps to Moving home in Canterbury
Step 1: Arrange A Survey
The price of a removal is dependent on a number of factors:

To calculate this volume, we carry out a visit via video where we can assess all the information required and the contents of your home.
It’s easy to arrange an appointment over the phone or by email.
Step 2: Receive A Quotation
After the initial survey, our surveyors take away all of the information they have and produce a moving plan.
They take into account all of the factors in step 1 and produce a quote.
Your quotation is then emailed to you within twenty four hours.
Step 3: Accept A Removals Quotation
Once the quotation has been sent, an online account is automatically created where you can login in and accept the quote online within minutes.
To book in a removal we require
1. The signed acceptance form (which you can do online)
2. A 25% deposit.
Please note, a removal is not confirmed until you receive a letter of confirmation from us.
Step 4: The day of the move in Canterbury
Our team leave our offices at 8am sharp.
Most house removals will take a whole day to complete and our anticipated finish time is usually around 5:30/6.00pm but this is subject to what time the keys are available to your new property.
We advise having a chat with us beforehand and complete a removal plan as each move has different circumstances.

We are relatively new to Canterbury Removal. Originally we began operation in Tunbridge Wells in 1987 when Paul Bearsby started moving homes in and around the area. From those moving to a new home or to an existing build, over the years he slowly but surely expanded the business and began to offer removals services to the surrounding areas too.
Twenty eight years later and we have moved premises four times. We now have over twenty five full-time staff, our own impressive fleet of removals trucks and in January 2015 we moved to our brand new office space and storage facility in Aylesford, Maidstone.
This move was a big move for us, we had been carrying out removals throughout the whole of Kent and throughout Europe and so we decided it was time to step things up a gear.
Our Current Location
Our current location is central to the whole of Kent. We can now get to most corners of the county within 40 minutes of leaving our office and our proximity to the M20 allows us to be down in Dover and onto the continent in a matter of hours. Although Canterbury is not immediately local to us, we have moved a lot of happy families into the area. We also carry out all of the house removals in Canterbury for Churchill Retirement Living and so we visit the city centre quite frequently.
